The Message Of Bible

Bible is quite a big book with two major sections, sixty-six subsections, and over 31,000 still smaller divisions. If you are new to this book, this size can overwhelm you. A sensible approach of reading can, however, solve this problem.

We suggest that you refer to the Table Of Contents and make yourself familiar with the two major sections called Old Testament and New Testament.

The Old Testament is divided into 39 books while the New Testament is divided into 27 books. Each book is divided into chapters, and each chapter is divided into small verses for your convenience.

These books were written by 40 writers over a period of 1500 years, and there is no way in which they could interact with each other. Yet the entire book has only a single theme and a single message for mankind.

WHAT IS THE MESSAGE OF BIBLE ?

According to the Bible, all men are sinners. The wages of sin is death. Consequently, every person deserves only one thing — spiritual death and hell. No one can save himself from this. But God, in His love, has opened a way.

Lord Jesus came to this world to give His life as an offering in your place. He died to pay the penalty of your sins.

Now that He has paid the penalty by His death, you can become free from this penalty by accepting Him as your Saviour.

Recognizing that you are a sinner, pray to Him saying that you accept Him as your Saviour right now. God’s gift of salvation will be yours.

When man give you something, he expects you to pay back — sooner or latter. But when God give, He gives it as a true gift ! Accept that gift today, and become a blessed child of God.

It is clear what the message was of the early church that saved sinners and it all began at the birth of the church and that was repentance and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the removal of ones sins and the infilling of the holy spirit (Acts 2:38) and before you state this is not right then you explain how was 3000 people saved by this message? and remember this the epistles did not exists before the book of Acts and everyone in the book of Acts including the apostle obeyed this commandment to say this is not the plan of salvation is to say no one in the book of acts was saved including apostle Paul that had written most of the epistles. You will not find another plan of salvation in the early church! God is the same yesterday and today and forever he change not. Act 2:36 Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”
Act 2:37 Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” Act 2:38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:39 For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” Act 2:41 So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added “SAVED” that day about three thousand souls.Act 2:47 praising God and having favor with all the people. Act 8:36 And as they were going along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?”
Act 8:37 [And Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he replied, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”]
Act 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stop, and they both went down into the water, Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him.
Apostle Paul;Act 9:17 So Ananias departed and entered the house. And laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road by which you came has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be “filled with the Holy Spirit”.”
    Act 9:18 And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he rose and was “baptized”;
Act 10:43 To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”
Act 10:44 While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word.
Act 10:45 And the believers from among the circumcised who had come with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out even on the Gentiles.
Act 10:46 For they were hearing them speaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter declared,
Act 10:47 “Can anyone withhold water for “baptizing” these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?”
Act 10:48 And he commanded them to be “baptized in the name of Jesus Christ”.

Act 16:17 She followed Paul and us, crying out, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to you the way of “salvation”.”
Act 16:30 Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

Act 19:4 And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.”

Rom 6:3 Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
